SFS package installation
- Verify, via the command-line interface, that sufficient, free partition space is available for installation:
- Download and place the file at /mnt/home
- Then follow either of the instructions:
- Menu > System > BootManager
- Menu > Setup > SFS-Load
Applications using J.R.E.
Some applications that can make use of Java Runtime Environment may need to be configured and re-started after J.R.E. installation, e.g.:
- LibreOffice
Go to: Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Advanced > Java options
- SeaMonkey
Go to: Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Enable Java
- Firefox
Go to: Tools > Add-ons > Plugins
Web browser configuration confirmation tests:
To execute these tests JavaScript needs to be enabled within the Web browser.
